
Jimmy Smith (born February 1, 1995) known professionally as Sauce Papi (formerly known as The Dropout), is a Music Artist from Memphis, TN. He begun his recording career in 2011. Papi has since spent his years growing in his artistry and advancing in his journey of self awareness. As an independent artist, he's made it his specialty of cutting out the "middle man" and utilizing his many talents to grow him more as a creative. Unless specified, Papi has produced, written, & mixed all of his music, directed, shot, & edited all of his visuals, and basically is self promoted.
The Memphis native has mastered the art of creativity, wielding both musical genius and visual flair, introducing the world to a raw, unmasked artist who waits on no man. SP combines local inspiration with worldwide influences to craft projects that portray his mind in every art form. With many years of experience behind him, Papi now leads the league of creatives in his hometown while putting on a masterclass of showmanship.
Sauce Papi has solidified himself as a staple of his community in multiple ways. He now has a menu item named after him in Memphis' very own Butteriffic Cafe. Papi has collabed with the Memphis legend Crunchy Blacc and has landed himself a feature on a project from IDontKnowJeffery, creator of the popular song & phrase “MNEIG". He also debuted his acting chops as the main character of BrinkTV's sitcom “Not So Normal”.
Sauce Papi does not currently have a manager and wishes to maintain 100% creative control if ever to be signed by a label.
